Galeri PETRONAS

Hello, everyone! Halima and Azila here. Have you ever went to any art gallery before? No? Why? Is it because it's too far? Or is it because you don't want to pay just to see paintings on the wall? Or you're just not a fan of art? it doesn't really matter.

So today, we would like to introduce you to Galeri PETRONAS . The good news is, it's located in Suria KLCC on level 3 and NO entrance fee! Yay for free! To be honest, Galeri PETRONAS is a must place to visit whenever we went to Suria KLCC together. We went there two weeks ago and at the moment, an exhibition called Young Malaysians Artists III was going on. So, here are some photos that we took from Galeri PETRONAS to show you how cool it is.

If you see something that looks like this, then you have come to the right place

The Crowded City by Muhammad Effi Syafiq Jusoh

Zoom in (i)

Shadow by Hafawati Abidin

Zoom in (ii) "Everyone has their own stories"

Orang by Ahmad Afiq Ahmad Faris

Zoom in (iii)

The Crow V by Hug Yin Wan

Abraham Lincoln (made from wire mesh) by Jamil Zakaria

To be honest, these two are personally my (Halima) favourite masterpieces and if you want to know why, then you should give Galeri PETRONAS a visit :)

Hi :)
Do You Hate Me

Another, mother, please don't be mad at me,
Do you hate me as your daughter?
Please don't me your enemy,
Because I have my own reasons, mother.

How could you do this,
Why this world so cruel,
How could you compare me with your niece?
Why this life have many rules?

I feel alone all the time,
Day and night, I am so stressed,
Nobody cares about me,
Everything makes me feel like mess.

You always blame me for everything,
You compare me with my sister,
Think, oh mother, please think!
Our family seems like a disaster.

Maybe this is the best way,
I hope everyone will live happily,
I want to go far far away,
And disappear from your life silently.

A Poison Tree

Friends ooo friends,
Do yo really think that you're qualified as a friend?
You spread the bad things about me,
Should I just smile and see?

You always think you're the best,
When you're suffering, I feel blessed,
You always think you're right,
If I don't agree, you'll start a fight.

You can do the task,
But you prefer to ask,
Don't act like, you're still a kid,
You're grown up, you're big.

Friend ooo friend,
Your behavior, I don't know how low I can stand,
You are once important to me,
But now, you are my enemy.

You are always sensitive,
And usually being defensive,
You make me feel messy,
Everything you do, you never see.

Poem by Group 2

Hi...
Here, we've wrote two poems, the first is about Lulu's poem to her mother before she disappeared and this poem based on What Happened To Lulu. The second is about poem to your enemy, this poem based on
A Poison Tree.

Oh Mother, Dear Mother

Oh Mother ,Dear mother
Oh mother, oh dear,
I have to leave you now.
Oh mother,oh dear,
But I don't know how.

I wanted to stay,but I can't do that,
I know I'm sick,so please be kind,
Let me go for a while,
I'll be back when I'm fine.

Oh mother, oh dear,
Please forgive me for what I didn't tell,
I didn't want you to know,
That I'm not well.

I will take the pain away,
Just give me some time.
I will finish my recovery,
And I have my own aim.
 Hope I Smile With Glee
When I was small and young,
Dad and Mom don't care of me,
They said they love me but busy in work,
And hope I smile with glee.

When I grew and went to school,
Teacher and classmate don't care of me.
They always bullied and tortured my soul
And hope I smile with glee.

When I had a family,
My nosy husband don't care of me,
He force me to work all day,
And hope I smile with glee.

Now I am old and left a few breath,
Everybody don't care for me.
No one visits me before I go the path of heaven,
So I never smile with glee.

Poem to Your Enemy
by Group 6 (Hairie,Ameen,Eu Queen,Izzati)

You Said
by N.I.N.E.

You said "How to do this?",
If I don't, you will blitz,
You are extremely brash,
Everything you said is only trash.

You said "How to do that?",
If I don't, you'll get mad,
Your complaints never seem to end,
When you need help, you call me friend.

You said "Help me with this",
I help you eventhough you didn't say "Please",
I thought you know how to do that task,
But you're too lazy, so you decided to ask.

You said "Look at what I've got",
I know you like to be the hotshot,
For all the times that you made me feel small,
Was I a fool to let your break down my walls.

You said "I got the highest score",
You said again "I'm the smartest of all",
I'm not jealous, but the anger, the thirst to curse,
If I was the death angel, I know whose life I'll take first

Freedom
by Lulu

Why do you have a narrow-minded, mother?
Always with your negative thinking,
Why are you always accusing?
When I will never do such thing.

I can't be like what you want, mother,
Why are you always comparing?
I've tried my best, mother,
But still, you reward me by nagging.

I have grown up, mother,
I want my freedom,
I want to get out from this prison,
Is it so hard for you to fathom?

I want to go out, mother,
But you are over protective,
You always ask for a reason,
Then, I learned how to deceive.

I know this is wrong, mother,
Running away is not the key,
But what can I do, mother?
I just want to be happy.

Are you part of the new human evolution?

It's a sunny day and you are sweating infinitely. Suddenly -
OH LOOK, I CAN SEE THOSE WEIRD TRANSPARENT WORMS IN MY VISION AGAIN
CAN YOU SEE IT???
WHY YOU RUN AWAY WHEN I TRY TO LOOK AT YOU
WHHYYYY
If you experienced the same thing, you're in luck! You're 4% of the human population with evolved eye and brain with extra capabilities. Your eyes are able to perceive a new particle known as "type-II Weyl fermion".It was detected by the world’s favourite particle accelerator, the Large Hadron Collider. And what is more suprising - it defy a lot of universal rules.

The type-II Weyl fermion was predicted when researchers noticed that a metallic crystal material known as tungsten ditelluride was behaving in a strange way. Most metals become insulators when subjected to a magnetic field, while metallic crystals that contain Weyl fermions become super-efficient conductors instead. But the tungsten ditelluride did something else entirely – it becomes either an insulator or a near perfect conductor, depending on the direction of the magnetic field.

Actually, I lied.

Hi there. These poems were written by Group 1 (Chan Kah Lok, Chu Zen Hao, Irfan, Danial and Redzuan). The first poem is based on What Has Happened To Lulu by Charles Causley and the second poem is based on A Poison Tree by William Blake. These poems might be bad in quality but it is better than nothing at all.
